Because of the autumn-vacation, there is no class for 2 weeks. In a certain manner, this came in convenient as one of my feet was not in good condition and my body was left crippled by the flu.
I was to see the GP about my foot when the flu hit me. Ten days later, when I felt better, I did see her about my foot. She could not find anything particularly disturbing, and the pain was certainly a lot less compared to earlier.

But she was a substitute of my regular gp, and nobody knows me better than she does. I planned to talk to her about my foot again as I had to see her about something else a few days later, but the problem solved itself spontaneously and I even walked for a substantial distance in Amsterdam without any trouble at all.

Danceclass certainly went better then 3 weeks ago. The tempo got slightly faster and I got to dance the lead-around again. Even 'worse': I had to try and dance it to music.

Homework

My homework consisted of practicing a so called 'sidestep', consisting of 7 moves. It starts with a so called 'hop', a move that I got to know in the previous class and involved some stretching advice. After that hop, 6 moves follow in quite a high tempo, which completes the 7 moves. Therefor it is also called a 'seven'.

My thoughts were that I was being rushed through everything. I didn't expect to get this far after only 3 lessons. Ofcourse, I had quite a lot to gain when it came to technique, posture and all other things considered, but taking into account that I really thought I would have had to quit after only 1 or 2 lessons, this was quite something.
