The usual hall again and back to concrete-practice once more

Luckily, we're back to the other hall, but it would be a lie to say that's a solutiong to everything. It's so damp again! We find some other doors on the other side of the hall, to get some airflow through the room.

I can't really get my steps going: I did not remember much and it feels like everything is explained to me twice.
Especially the end of the sidestep on my heavy shoes is a tough one: after lifting one leg I have to 'let it drop' and hit the floor twice. After that, there is a hop, but I want to do that too fast and with far too much force as well.

The problem lies in the order of dances she teaches. My current teacher first teaches the Beginners Light Jig after the Beginners Reel, as the step ('Hop-back') I need to do in my Treble Jig is the same, but then on soft shoes. As soon as you master that move, it's far easier to do the same thing on heavy shoes. I miss that rather basic movement which makes it a lot tougher to perform.

I try to do the step a few times, but I haven't got a clue if I'm doing the right thing. What really troubles me is that I don't understand the timing of these 12 steps in total. I'm allright with the two trebles, but have a hard time figuring out how to time the steps after the trebless.
